Programs

Our Day Center is temporarily housed at our new facility located on 210 2nd Street, NE, in Hickory, NC.  Here, we provide safety, shelter, and positive programming during daytime hours for homeless women and children.

Our Day Center offers:

  • Needs assessment and spiritual hope
  • Wholesome lunch and snacks
  • Bible study
  • Life skills seminars and classes
  • Clothing ministry
  • Link to other community resources
  • The opportunity to earn points for bus passes, personal care items, and hair care.

Our hours of opereration are Tuesday through Thursday, 8am until 3pm.  We have a van that picks up women and children from the local homeless shelter in the morning and returns them in the afternoon.
